There’s a rumor circulating on the Web that actor /comedian Eddie Murphy is dead! This looks exactly like those rumors we get once in awhile . This reminded me the last time we reported Jeff Goldblum was dead!
The Eddie Murphy dead rumors began earlier tonight, as website alleged that Murphy died while filming a movie. However, it didn't take long to see that this Eddie Murphy dead story was yet another forgery.
The rumor claims that Eddie Murphy “was killed in an accident on the set of the film adaptation of the video game Left 4 Dead, currently filming in Los Angeles, CA.” The cause of death is attributed to to have been a special effects mishap.
While you could argue that Eddie Murphy’s career might be all but dead, the man himself is still 100% alive and kicking. We can never be 100% sure, but we’re definite on the call: chalk this up as another fake celebrity death.
Therefore, Eddie Murphy dead stories about his death in a special effect mishap for Left 4 Dead are certainly not true. As such, Eddie Murphy is just the latest to join the billions of celebrities who have been declared dead this year.
Who starts these rumors? We don’t know, but are almost sure it is fake. I mean, we don’t like all the crappy movies Murphy has released, but we don’t want him dead!
