Sarah Palin lambasted late-night comedian David Letterman Wednesday for "sexually-perverted comments" about one of her teenage daughters - and rebuffed his moves to make nice.
The CBS funnyman joked Monday of Palin's recent New York visit that "during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.""Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year-old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl is...disgusting," the Alaska governor said in a statement.
Alaska's First Dude, Todd Palin, said "any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable."
But Letterman insisted on his show Wednesday night that he was referring to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, who recently gave birth to a son after roiling the presidential campaign with the revelation she was pregnant.
I’ve never particularly thought David Letterman was funny. He just has never appealed to me. I’ve always thought his jokes seemed more mean-spirited than funny, regardless of what he’s joking about. He also seemed to me to think his own jokes were much funnier than anyone else thinks they are.All of that seems to have gotten a lot worse lately. Or maybe its just irritating me more. He just seems like an old man who makes jokes in the vein of an adolescent bully on the playground.
It gets worse though. In the monologue, he goes after Palin’s 14-year-old daughter, Willow Palin. He ‘jokes’ about her going to the Yankees’ game with her mother and Rudy and Judith Giuliani. His joke has to do with Sarah Palin’s minor daughter getting ‘raped’ and ‘knocked up’ by Alex Rodriguez during the game.
The leftists have had no problem attacking Sarah Palin’s entire family (including her very young children) since she came into the national spotlight. They have reported lies as fact about Palin, her husband and all of her children. Its unprecedented, irresponsible, mean-spirited and disgusting.
Palin was in New York to receive an award for her advocacy of children with disabilities. Her family was invited to Sunday's Yankees game by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

Speaking of anti-Semitism, it's Jerry Falwell and other fundy leaders who've gleefully predicted that in the future EVERY nation will be against Israel (an international first?) and that TWO-THIRDS of all Jews will be killed, right?
Wrong! It's the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah who predicted all this in the 13th and 14th chapters of his book! The last prophet, Malachi, explains the reason for this future Holocaust that'll outdo even Hitler's by stating that "Judah hath dealt treacherously" and "the Lord will cut off the man that doeth this" and asks "Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother?"
Haven't evangelicals generally been the best friends of Israel and Jewish persons? Then please explain the recent filthy, hate-filled, back-stabbing tirades by David Letterman (and Sandra Bernhard) against a leading evangelical named Sarah Palin, and explain why most Jewish leaders have seemingly condoned Palin's continuing "crucifixion"!
While David and Sandra are tragically turning comedy into tragedy, they are also helping to speed up and fulfill the Final Holocaust a la Zechariah and Malachi, thus helping to make the Bible even more believable!
