Actor Stephen Baldwin, brother of Emmy winner and "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, filed for bankruptcy in New York on Tuesday, according to a court document that says he is millions in debt.
The 43-year-old actor has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in New York. Court documents show he has over $2.3mil in debt and only $1.1mil in assets.He also has heavy credit card debt.His wife, Kennya Baldwin, also is named in the document.
A lawyer for Baldwin had no comment.
New York newspaper Newsday reported earlier this month that a homeless man who was allowed to live on Baldwin's property was arrested on heroin charges and suspected of dealing drugs.
Baldwin recently returned from a stint in the jungle for NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” He abruptly quit the show, blaming extreme bug bites.
