John Stossel Joins FOX News


John Stossel is leaving ABC News for Fox, where he'll host a weekly show on Fox Business and host a series of specials for Fox News.

Stossel, best known for his work as co-anchor of ABC News' "20/20," will anchor "Stossel," a weekly program on FOX Business Network, and make regular appearances on FOX News Channel, it was announced Thursday.

He'll host a two-hour weekly show on Fox Business and make appearances on Fox News in both the daytime and primetime hours.Stossel and a panel of experts will explore a wide range of topics including civil liberties, the business of health care and Social Security.

"I'm thrilled to join FOX News and look forward to inventing a new show for FOX Business," Stossel said.

"John Stossel is one of the most talented and thought-provoking journalists in the field and we are extremely excited to welcome him to the FOX Business team," FOX Business Network Executive Vice President Kevin Magee said. "His insights on consumer-related issues are unparalleled and will be a natural complement to our business programming."

Terms of Stossel's contract were not disclosed.
